Signstimator (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Signstimator mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.

1. Core Principle: Your Data Stays on Your Device

Signstimator is designed as an on-device estimating tool. All calculations, estimates, pricing information, customer details, logos, notes, and any other data you enter or create in the App are stored only on your device.

We do not collect, receive, transmit, store, or have access to any of this data on our servers or systems. We never harvest your estimating data, pricing details, customer lists, logos, or any content you create inside the App.

All estimator inputs and results (channel letters, vinyl, wraps, banners, dimensional signs, etc.)

Saved estimates, jobs, and project history
Customer information you enter
Company or customer logos you upload

This information never leaves your device unless you personally choose to share it (for example, by emailing an estimate, exporting a file, or otherwise sending it to someone).

Any feedback, support requests, or messages you send us

We only receive this information if you actively send it to us.

Limited technical information (if enabled)

Basic device information (model, operating system version) and crash reports — only if you consent to analytics or crash reporting

These are optional and used solely to improve app stability and performance. They do not include your estimates, pricing data, customer information, or any identifying content from the App.

3. Your Responsibility for Data Stored and Shared

Because all estimating data, pricing information, customer details, and related content remain solely on your device, you are fully responsible for that data.

Any information saved or stored within the App is under your control.
If you export, email, share, or otherwise transfer any data (including pricing details, estimates, or customer information) to another person or entity, that information is then in the hands of the recipient and outside our control.
We are not responsible for any data stored or saved within the App, nor for what happens to information after it has been exported or shared by you.

Please take appropriate care when sharing sensitive business or pricing information.

We do not use any data for advertising, profiling, or selling.

We do not use advertising networks. We do not track you across other apps or websites. We do not sell your personal information.

All estimator data, pricing information, customer details, logos, and related content remain on your device under your control. We implement reasonable measures to protect any limited information you choose to send us (such as support emails).

7. Data Retention

Because we do not receive your App data, we have nothing to retain. Any contact or support information you send us is kept only as long as needed to respond to you or as required by law.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you (for example, support emails). For data stored only on your device, you control it completely — you can delete it by removing the data inside the App or uninstalling the App.

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
